I have decided to choose the serial killer mind as a research topic. More specifically the functioning of a psycopathic brain, studie the differances between them and us. As it is an anomaly, we as human being are getting really interested in to learning the different aspects of human behaviour.

I began the research by watching a show based on real life events titled «The mind hunter». This series talks about two FBI agents and a psychologist in 70’s. All thee worked in behaviour science department, they were teaching other FBI agents communication with criminals. Their department was the first one to study the serial killers. By interviewing the killers they could analyse their behaviour and use it for new open cases and stopping other serial killers faster.

An other documentary helped me understand the serial killer brain function is «Inside the criminal mind». Here criminal attorney, professor of criminology and forensic psychologist discussed the criminal behaviour and showed the neuroimaging studies and FMRI studies looking at the difference between ‘normal’ brains and individuals who are psychopathic.

Further my research took me to the question why female are attracted to "bad boys"? Dr. Grande helpted me find the information needed even if the answers are only theories.

1st theory is that the killer is strong, possibility to change him bigger the potential change, the more recording the would be. Believing is the innocence and living in a fantasy

2nd theory is that the relation ship is safe, as the man is in prison so she doesn’t have to have any physical relationship, always safe outside of the prison.

3rd theory is simple idea of being near someone who’s high-profile (psychopath, sociopath)

Psychopathy- antisocial personality disorder.He’s condition might be genetic, but it is still hard to prove 100%. The also tend to have a really shallow charm and then to be really intelligent. They learned behaviour to assimilate into society.
Sociopaths look like psychopaths but the difference id that they were made. For example a kid that grows up in a really rough neighbourhood and learnt criminality, learns how to be a bully or in a family when parents teach how to break rules.
